Someone saw it fit to steal my 1998 Ford Winstar minivan! You'd think that a
ten year old van with 160k miles on it, with bad brakes and a failing
electrical system wouldn't be a prime target for theft, but I thought this
and I was wrong.
It's probably halfway to Brownsville by now, but either way, I am now
driving this. Standard features include:
- direct engine-to-wheel one-speed transmission
- direct-to-wheel pinch brake system ( it's only really for show )
- 18 MPH ( 29 KPH) top speed
- 28 MPG, at 1/4 gallon intervals ( I did the math on this )
- convenient 'no seat' driver accommodations
um....
- throttle
- stylish 'child molester' appearance
- missing air filter for increased speed!
It's good to have friends who can come through for you when you're in a
pinch, but it's obvious that I can really only make the short drive to and
from work on this thing. No way I can even bring groceries home. I'm going
to give HPD until my birthday to try to locate my van. With any good
fortune, they'll find it ( all of it ), and I'll be ok. In a
worst-case-scenario, I will be buying a used vehicle in the first week of
February. I really can not afford this right now, I'm barely getting by with
my regular bills... a car note will push me over the edge and into debt.
Anything you can / are willing to do would mean so much to me. I will
personally guarantee some good lulz to anyone who donates!
Your donation will help
me to getting a vehicle which includes things like... doors, windows, and
safety features my current vehicle does not ( think 'seats' and 'more than
two wheels' ) All donations are greatly
appreciated and are possibly tax deductible.
( I donno about this, ask your CPA to find out. I am not a registered
charity. )
