A highly experienced technician, I offer all services for and related to computers. I have been in the user-end PC industry for many years, and have been employed at several Houston area PC shops working my way up the pay ladder, but need some extra side money to make rent and utilities. The prices I offer are cut-throat as compared to repair shops, and I do back all my work for a minimum of 30 days.
Most computer problems are exponential, meaning the longer you wait to fix them, the worse and more expensive they become.
Also, please call if you’d like consulting on purchasing a new computer. Many people are not aware you can have a completely customized computer built which is not from a major manufacturer. Custom built computers give you true upgradeability for a longer life, featuring more durable and faster performing components. Best of all, they’re usually between a three quarters or half of the cost of a major-label computer!

On-site Repair
$75 the first hour, $50
each hour after Have a problem at home and don't want to go without your PC overnight? Need some networking setup, or perhaps a tutorial on how to make the most out of your PC and all it's related hardware? On-site repair is quickly becoming one of the hottest forms of PC repair, and I am no stranger to making house calls. Some jobs will require the use of equipment I can not carry along with me, so not all repairs can be completed on-site. Those repairs, and their respective prices are listed below but will normally take longer ( typically overnight ) to complete. Many hardware related tasks are best completed in my lab as I have control on environmental factors ( static, humidity, etc ) as well as a wider array of tools at my disposal which I can not carry with me to on-site repairs.
Virus and Spywear Removal, complimentary Defragmentation (V/S/D) $50 If your computer has become slower over time, or suddenly became very slow, this is typical of many forms of viruses and certain software, referred to as ‘spywear’ or ‘malwear.’ There are many great applications you may you free from the internet to try and resolve these issues yourself, but many must be used in a precise order, under very carefully controlled conditions to be effective at all - sometimes they can not be completed without dismantling the computer and cleaning the hard drive in another tower specifically designed to remove these threats. These situations are usually completely solvable within 24 hours, but may not be available ( based on severity ) on-site as it usually takes many hours.
Installation of Software Updates and Patches, complimentary Defragmentation $25 Software companies request you keep your software up-to-date, to insure the best stability and security. Many people either do not update at all, or do not know how to update. Let me take care of it for you, usually done in about an hour on-site, but due to the raw size of the updates and typical number of updates, I recommend you allow me to take it to my lab.
Installation and / or Configuration of any Device $25 Just bought a new printer or camera? Need help setting it up? Purchased a new video card or modem, but have no idea how to configure it or install it? I do! External devices are best set up on-site, but installation of new internal hardware should be done at my lab, in a statically controlled environment. Do not risk damaging the sensitive components in your computer, let me take care of it for you.
Hardware Diagnosis $15 Computer making a funny smell? Is it reminiscent of burning plastic? Perhaps it is beeping at you or making funny sounds. Let me take a look at it before it breaks for good! Depending on the nature of your problem, this process can take between five minutes to two days. Some hardware problems aver very intermittent and require lengthy procedures to properly detect the root cause. On the other hand, some issues can be spotted and even resolved within a half an hour. On-site is typically recommended for this service, but if I can not determine your problem outright I will take the machine with me, and strike any onsite charge.
Hardware Upgrading Service $15 for diagnosis, waived if upgrades purchased. $50 for labor in hardware upgrades, plus cost of parts. Computer getting old? Want to juice it up a little? After an initial look at your existing hardware, I can upgrade almost any PC to make it much faster. Part of this service involves cleaning up the software aspect of your computer, gearing it to make the best use of your new hardware. Want to see what that old tower can do?
